Dining Buffets Under $1,000

Dining rooms are an underrated room which deserve some love.  My favorite piece in a dining room is the dining buffet or sideboard.  I love this piece because it provides great storage and gives a space to display in the dining room.  When choosing my favorite dining buffets, I took into account price, look, functionality, and quality.  Here are my five favorite dining buffets under $1,000.

First, is the black Crate and Barrel sideboard.  This piece is just so stunning to me.  The black steel powder coat is so simple, sleek, and understated.  I love the simple lines and the geometrical base is a fun touch.  I think this piece is simple and diverse and would go great with almost any dining set, especially modern or farmhouse modern.

Next to the Crate and Barrel piece, is a great piece from Joss and Main called the Pettaway Buffet Table.  I think this piece is adorable!  It has a weathered country look and could warm any space right up.  The knobs on the doors and the details on the legs just scream country character.  This would look perfect in a laid back dining room with a simple country or rustic vibe.

The middle left sideboard is so interesting!  It almost looks like drawers, but they fold down to reveal awesome storage space.  This credenza from CB2 would look awesome in a more modern dining room.  I think it would look awesome with some oversized lanterns on top with a few white ceramic accents.

The middle right dining buffet under $1,000 is a great piece from Pier1.  I love the simple lines, the mix of drawers and shelves, and the contrasting cement glazed top.  I think this would look awesome in any casual dining room looking to add storage and a display area to show off serving ware.

The bottom left dining buffet under $1,000 is the most formal piece in this line up.  It is the Marie Buffet from Joss and Main.  I find it so interesting, yet not too busy.  I love the design on the doors and the multi level top.  I think two matching lamps would look so good on this to add to the perfect symmetry.

The last is an opened shelf beauty from All Modern called the Yamashita Buffet.  The thought of having open shelving for a buffet overwhelmed me at first, but now I love the idea.  I think the dusting would not be fun, but I love the thought of beautiful china being stacked up really nicely in a way that’s easy to use and see.  Which buffet would look best in your home?
